Ectoplasm Portraits ongoing series of b&w, 35mm film portraiture.
My current and ongoing series Ectoplasm Portraits, are durational portraits of channeled grief and catharsis as it exits the body in spirit and ectoplasmic form. Based on conceptual approaches to 19th century and 20th century spirit photography, these portraits are done using film photography and darkroom collage that produces spiritual notes and performance styles. This series reflects the greater studies of occult, spiritualism, trance investigations and the methods and advances of mediumship.
