In my ongoing series Ectoplasm Portraits, I channel grief and catharsis, capturing these intense emotions as they appear in ethereal ectoplasmic forms. Drawing inspiration from the conceptual approaches of 19th and 20th century spirit photography. I use film photography and darkroom processes to develop my own techniques and craft visual-poetics. Through this, my aim is to provoke deep stimuli between spiritual and visual mediums. These contemporary explorations provide a tangible connection to the mystical. Each frame, in which the spirit and the corporeal world converge, offers glimpses into transcendence.
